Jonathan is a former ministerial advisor and senior consultant at Europe Economics. An economist with high-level policy and political experience, he remains an associate at Europe Economics, Demos and ESL UK. He also writes for Labour Uncut. Currently he is undertaking a pioneering research project for UK Music on the economic contribution of the music industry to the British economy. Since becoming a freelance consultant he has completed projects for Action for Children, Centre for London, Demos and UK Music. He’s especially interested in the economics of the creative industries and the economic and political futures of UK cities. Jonathan holds degrees from three leading universities in Economics and Politics, including an M Phil in Political Thought and Intellectual History. More
